someone on Blu-Ray.com says that the Italian tv edit on the UK release of A blade in the dark as a frame missing because the VS version is at 109.15 sec long and 88films version is 108.44sec and I said it's because of pal and ntsc then someone said that pal is only for SD not HD or UHD is that right or am I an idiot and is there a frame missing for the Italian tv edit or have they got it all wrong.

There *are* missing frames in the 2015 release, but it's not due to censorship

The early NTSC, PAL, and initial HD telecine of the 16mm negatives deleted frames at each splice point. This resulted in a reduction to the running time of approx/ two minutes leading to a version that lasted just under 107 minute [Later releases have restored these missing frames, bringing the running time up to 109 minutes]

They probably didn't want a 2025 released date, or even not to have a date at all, so opted for the end of this year.

Like Dem says, it's just a placeholder, because they can't have a blank space ? it's like the $888.88 price for preorders.
