'Devil Fetus' (1983) - Blu-ray pre-order available from Amazon UK - UK$25.00

Release date: June 23

"IT HAS RETURNED. A decade after Cheng Shu-ching was possessed and killed by a demon, it comes back to claim the rest of her family - in the most unpleasant ways possible. The only way to defeat it is with traditional Taoist magic, but that will prove harder than they realise.

A maximalist Hong Kong horror in the tradition of The Boxer's Omen and Black Magic, The Devil Foetus blends extreme imagery with esoteric lore for something a bit wilder than western horror movies. 88 Films are proud to present a true classic of Asian fantasy cinema on blu-ray for the first time in the UK."

'Her Vengeance' (1988) - Blu-ray pre-order available from Amazon UK - UK$25.00

Release date: June 23

"One of the first - and most notorious - of Hong Kong's famously Adults Only Category III films, Her Vengeance stars Pauline Wong (The Blue Jean Monster) as a young woman hunting down the vermin who brutally assaulted her: ears will be sliced off, acid will be thrown and funeral directors will be kept very busy indeed ...

With essential support from the legendary Lam Ching-ying (Magic Cop) as a warrior in a wheelchair and directed by Lam Nai-choi, master of Asian extremity (The Story of Ricky; Erotic Ghost Story), Her Vengeance is a tale of retribution that could only have been made in Hong Kong. 88 Films are proud to present a cult classic - completely uncut - on blu-ray for the first time."

'The Black Torment' (1964) - Blu-ray pre-order available from Amazon UK - UK$17.00

Release date: June 23

"Returning home to introduce his new bride to his father, Sir Richard Fordyke (John Turner: The Giant Behemoth) is horrified when he's blamed for an unspeakable murder. But he will soon face even worse, as dark secrets emerge and the ghosts of his past rise against him.

From legendary producer Tony Tenser (Witchfinder General, The Blood on Satan's Claw) and director Robert Hartford-Davis (Corruption), The Black Torment is a richly atmospheric gothic shocker from the glory days of British horror. 88 Films are proud to present this underrated gem, finally restored to its full spine-tingling splendour."

'Seven Deaths In The Cat's Eye' (1973) - Deluxe Collectors Edition Blu-ray pre-order available from Amazon UK - UK$25.00

Release date: June 23

"The vampire genre gets an injection of 70's giallo glamour thanks to a cast which includes Jane Birkin, Hiram Keller and Anton Diffring in Antonio Margheriti's Seven Deaths In The Cat's Eye.

This compelling chiller is set in Scotland where, in a crumbling old castle, its inhabitants are being bumped off one-by-one. Could the legend of a vampire haunting with in its cold walls be true and is it the cause of these mysterious deaths?

Gothic with an infusion of erotic charm, the film also contains an undercurrent of social commentary. Look out for Birkin's singer / songwriter friend Serge Gainsbourg in a cameo as a police Inspector."

"Show Aikawa is back as the superhero like no other in maverick director Takashi Miike (Audition, One Missed Call) and screenwriter Kankuro Kudo's (Go, Ping Pong) subversive and darkly satirical sequel to their 2004 homage to the golden era of Japan's tokusatsu TV shows.

It's 2025, and our hero Shinichi finds himself waking up minus memory, zebra stripes and zebra powers in an authoritarian dystopian future. Tokyo has been taken over by a sinister ultra right-wing governor named Kozo, who has reconstructed and rechristened the capital as Zebra City and mandated a twice-daily five-minute purge called Zebra Time in which all crime is legal and his Zebra Police readily pitch themselves into the resulting free-for-all.

It's a society dominated by screens, and the screens dominated by a sultry pop diva named Zebra Queen, who just happens to be Kozo's daughter. Can Shinichi regain his Zebraman powers to thwart the Kozo and the Zebra Queen's plans to export their dark vision across the world?
