The Arrow sales mean nothing as i have more or less everything on dvd already. 88 are similar but not as bad / good as they release new things like Scalps which need to be picked up.

So usually when i post things i've bought in the other thread they generally tend to cost a couple of quid a piece. Except i've been buying things like Doomwatch and The War Game which are exceptions to the rule.
As a rule i don't buy much on dvd anymore. Unless its supercheap or unlikely to ever see blu. A lot of networks dvd's particularly during sales like this fit into both catagories. And the few dvds i have from them are decent quality or at least as good ss can be expected. The Night As Eyes for instance, the quality of the print is superb better than some blu rays I've seen.
I do wish Network would get there website better organised though, or provide a wishlist option like Arrow. The sheer quantity of titles makes trawling through them a bit of a chore.

I know what you mean about the wishlist part. It would be nice. I just write things down, you know, pen and paper, although this might prove difficult whilst swigging a bottle of Famous Grouse black label.

I haven't seen it, Trebor.

If i recall it wasn't well liked by Shivers magazine back in the day. I think it was broadcast on Channel 4. However now you've brought it to my attention i think i'll order it.

I do not swig like some uncivilised brute. Swirl, sniff and sip my good man.

Invasion - I commented on this yesterday for you.
Corpse vanishes - I don't rate it. It's on practically every Mill Creek set going but this will be better quality.
Scared to death - As above.
Devil girl from Mars - Great film.
Terrornauts - Great film, but creaky sci-fi. Can't recall anything like it.
Cat girl - Excellent film
Chances of them going to blu-ray - low.
Cat Girl's actually a newish release so they would have done it i think.

I got The Champions in the last tv sale. I haven't watched it yet.

Have you got The Persuaders, Treb?

I can recommend that. An excellent release, loved every episode. Roger Moore and Tony Curtis are terrific and have great chemistry.

I finished watching the series on Monday night. It's a PG release but the hour long doc has loads of strong swearing. Curtis calls Joan Collins a c--t, twice.
mr 420, trebor8273 and nosferatu42 like this.
