Isn't The Sadist of Notra Dame, just a rehash of Franco's Demonaic?

i get confused too. but isn't Demoniac a retitling of L'éventreur de Notre-Dame (1975), whereas this one is El sádico de Notre-Dame (1979)?

he made so many a flowchart or Venn diagrams wouldn't make any sense of it

I have a theory about Franco films, that he was just so in the flow,in the moment.

Like a Jazz musician, (especially with his pubic trombone/ zoom lens ) not really giving a fknut generally, just getting in the groove.(usually a hairy one.)

He does look pretty stoned in most films he appears in.

To him (because he made so many films) it was a way of life, a sleazy crawl through a celluloid wet dream.

You know the feeling, get up and face another hard day peering into the universal flange.

I believe he was in a constantly aroused zen like state, floating between films high on minge musk

Therefore his films flow into each other in the crazed lubricated slipstream of chasing his and Lina Romay's desire, whatever that means.

I think you are not mean't to question or contemplate Franco,he is a fact of life, just switch off your brain and turn on your libido.

From what i understand, The Sadist of Notra Dame (1979), is made up of 75% of the 1975 film, with some new footage shot by Franco.
Not sure if that's enough to make me want to import the film again.

thanks CB, that's a bit of Franco info that i was ignorant of. seems to me that it would make sense for a distributor to put them together on the one release.

I watched Threads yesterday-still a harrowing two hour experience.
Those ****ing nuclear war PIF used to terrify me in the early eighties!

This is the best the film has ever looked.
Was this shown uncut first time round on BBC 2?

That ****ing Patrick Allen!
