Even as a huge Carpenter fan I'd be the first to say that the films are the worst part of the Indicator LE releases

As Justin101 hints, the discs have other virtues - notably that amazing two-part Carpenter interview from 1994. |

Ghosts of Mars and Vampires are good films. Stop being such a bunch of snobs.

Vampires is fine. Ghosts of Mars... ...well, I liked Jason Statham, but he belonged in a much better film. |

I love them both to be honest, but as Michael points out I was referring to the excellent 2 part interview with JC it's so good that I ended up double-dipping with Vampires so I could watch it all.

I prefer Ghosts of Mars as well I know I'm in the minority but I think Demdike feels the same way.

Ghosts of Mars is excellent. I can't watch Vampires anymore. I consider it below Escape from LA in the Carpenter oeuvre. |
