The specs are generally good but I can't lie, I'm a little disappointed by the extras on the Mexican release. The included extras are all welcome, but I would have hoped for audio commentaries for both films from some genre experts.

The Robles commentary should be interesting though.

Looks like a sale could be imminent

The sale is now live, all products up to the fairly recent Mexican Wrestler films, and the Ozploitation films.

I?m not tempted by anything yet, I still have a backlog from the last few sales

I really fancy the Tod Slaughter set but it's bad timing as usual.

It doesn't seem as mouth watering this time round. There's not enough for me to spend fifty pounds to get free postage when there's so much i'd like elsewhere.

Maybe the Easter sale.

I've just ordered the 4 'Mexico Macabre' titles - 'BLACK PIT OF DR. M' / 'THE WITCH'S MIRROR' / 'THE BRAINIAC' / 'THE CURSE OF THE CRYING WOMAN' and the Vincent Price vehicle 'THE MAD MAGICIAN'

It looks like the sale in only on until next Monday, so I might return to it before then

Great choices! Mexico Macabre was my favourite box set of last year!

Have you got Phantom of the Monastery? If not that would complete your Mexican horror buying. I really like it.

Nice purchases by the way. I really enjoyed The Mad Magician.

No, I don't have that one or 'LA LLORONA'

Both of them are 'possibles', along with 'Diary Of A Mad Housewife'. I don't know much about that film, other than the fact it includes the first ever filmed footage of The Alice Cooper Band
