The very worst DVD I have ever seen was a terrible kung fu cheapie called Dragon Lee's Ways of Kung Fu which is utterly abysmal in every aspect.

The Murder Secret from EC is maybe not the worst but it comes close...sourced from a tape master in bad shape.
I was constantly wondering if there was somthing wrong with my player but it's the source the used!

Me too -- it's one of my favourite horror films and features masterful direction by Nic Roeg and career-best performances by Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie. I've already bought it twice on DVD so an upgrade is not out of the question.
