The Prism release is pretty good.

Slaughter High-Lionsgate,vhs rip,no clean up and it still has the vestron video logo at the end

Trancers-prism, another awful vhs rip but at least its the R rated version, not the old PG print that EV put out in the 80's.It was only 99p but still

The Burning "the ultimate full uncut version"-vipco,i cant see whats so ultimate about it

Two things. It's Ultimately Uncut and it's Ultimately Taken From An Aged Video Print.

It's a real problem finding a good dvd of The Terror.
The best dvd I've seen so far is of it's tv version (as The Haunting with newer filmed footage inserted at the beginning and end (also by Corman I think)).
I've got the Dutch A-film release but there also seems to be a UK release?

I wouldn't bother looking for a better version since many have tried and none have found one it seems...

The Prism dvd has the "The Haunting" version I think.

Yeah, that's the one I found in the charity shop. BBC2 used to screen a decent print in the 80s and 90s. I wonder if they'll ever screen it again?

Red Sun - weird western and a good film but the sound quality is abysmal. bad transfer

or i could add the vast majority of films I buy when in mainland China.

Easily this one:

It's a bootleg and I was stupid enough to buy this on a DVD fair, trusting the stinking seller who claimed it was good quality, only to find out that it was filmed off a TV screen... When I faced the seller on the next fair, he justz shrugged his shoulders and I did my best to bad mouth him all day, he did not return the next two fairs
