If you read the book or watch the doc, you'll see that the film was actually originally titled 'The Changer' Mike Lee,as usual changed the title himself for maximum exploitation! Wasn't daft when it came to marketing was old Mikey-boy.

Keep watching those Arrow announcements! It'll come with 3 cuts, 12 commentaries & some video essays about feminist iconography in exploitation cinema. I mean "picking the nostril"......what's that supposed to mean....? #MeShoe |

At the risk of coming across as a massive snob, a film title like The Nostril Picker makes a movie seem hugely unappealing. Which is probably why I've never bothered to make any attempt to see it. Yes, it does grab your attention but not in a positive way (maybe I'm alone in these thoughts).

The title changer to me sounds like something that’s a shape shifter and changes its shape or morphs itself into things, than a film about someone who kills.
