The artwork is way better than the original Italian Blu-ray. Also, the spine text is the right way around and not the European way yay lol.

It appears that Messiah of Evil has sold out in it's limited edition two months before it's release date.

That's crazy. Surely they'll produce some more.

I mean Radiance want to make money don't they? Produce another thousand. That's another twenty two grand in their coffers if they do.

I remember Arrow increasing a limited run after it sold out on pre-order and they got a massive backlash for doing it, I can't even remember which product it was for which is how bothered I am by it lol.

In today's climate where labels are a few poor releases away from going out of business there's no way labels should be listening to a few bleating keyboard warriors.

Have you ordered Messiah of Evil yet? I have it on order from Amazon since day one so I’m hoping my order is safe

No. I was going to wait until nearer it's release date. It's still two months away yet.

I already have it on Code Red dvd but it would have been nice to get the limited edition but not essential.

I think Indicator upped the numbers for their Night of the Demon release twice based on demand so no reason why the print run can't be expanded. Makes financial sense to squeeze the LE for all its worth.

If I remember rightly, we were very keen not to sell out before the actual release date. We actively look forward to reviews and public reception (especially with that title, which we knew was a pretty extraordinary package), and we actively wanted people to have the opportunity to make an informed choice rather than pressure them into making a blind buy as quickly as possible for fear of missing out.

I don’t recall any backlash, possibly because we spelled this out upfront.

I’ve remembered the one I was thinking of earlier. It was The Thing, sold out on preorder within 24 hours because Arrow had hyped it up so much, they then doubled the limited run and people got pissed. But 4 or 5 years down the line who even cares any more. If people want the release let them have it.

For The Thing, the standard edition version ended up coming out on the same day as the sold out limited edition.
