I was really disappointed EXTERMINATORS OF THE YEAR 3000 was full screen, but, from what I've heard, it wasn't CR's fault. Hopefully a widescreen edition will turn up someday.

This was the first of the post apocalyptic movies I ever saw on video in the good old days,so I've always had a soft spot for the film.The commentary is quite decent & it's highly unlikely it will be on anyone else's list for the moment for a dvd release (If ever).I'm just thankful Code Red released it at all & glad I got it before it was OOP.

Short God's Bloody Acre review...as promised.

Found the film a bit weird (probably an understatement) but enjoyable.
3 hicks who live in a forest defend their home from construction workers and other people who try to invade their privacy with disastrous consequences...

Also includes a rape scene that would be cut by the BBFC as the woman gets aroused during the rape.

The print CR had to use (no decent elements provided by the licensor) has print damage and some water marks but this is mostly limited to the first reel and I quickly forgot about it when watching.

Tomcats aka Getting Even is included as an extra.
This "revenge for a rape" film delivers enough low budget sleaze and also has a long chase scene (on foot!).
According to a statement of a CL member there would exist a UK precert vhs version with more rape footage.

Sourced from a tape master (this is not the same as a vhs tape).

Overall another interesting package of forgotten US exploitation films with God's Bloody Acre probably being my favourite of the two titles.

I keep wondering who would release films like these if there was no Code Red?
