Also a lot more old CR titles than I expected are out of stock now.

Even a big title like Messiah Of Evil seems to be out of stock?

But Bill is contemplating repressing (very limited pressings I think) a few selected titles because there's definitely still demand.

Night of the Demon was mentioned btw.
Ka ching!! fingers crossed then!!

There's talk of the possible NOTD repress having a different cover but nothing has been decided yet (I think).

Only selected titles will possibly have very limited repressings btw.

First overstock title available from the CR storefront:
Roman Polanski's DAY AT THE BEACH
$6.99

codereddvd store

This was actually a title Walter (now Scorpion) brought to Code Red it seems.

Does anyone know anything about the CR 'Retribution'? Is all the violence intact? I'm quite up for getting it, but I'm a bit unsure. To my limited knowledge, previous releases seem to have been quite heavily trimmed. I can understand Bill being a bit circumspect about 'cut or uncut' claims these days, and I've never known CR to deliver a (significantly) cut release, but has anybody who feels able to make valid comparisons seen it / or just know anyway?

"Now that I have finally seen RETRIBUTION, the cut scenes presented on the DVD run, like, 6 minutes, but the violence/gore that was cut from them is really only like Magar said, 10 seconds. It's mostly the camera hanging on the gore for a little longer. What a freaky movie. Man, does it get intense at the end."

The "cut scenes" are presented as an extra (in inferior quality btw because they seem to originate from a workprint).
The main feature comes newly mastered from the director's personal materials.
