There's definitely 200 titles + if they've bought rights to the entire Hammer output.

Putting several linked shorts onto disc could be quite a good way to release them or adding them as extras on new releases.

Who knows what they intend to do with them?

all the titles Indicator have released are owned by Columbia in perpetuity both in UK and US and they also own Creatures the World Forgot

Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed, Taste the Blood of Dracula, Dracula Has Risen From Grave, Moon Zero Two, When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth are all owned by Warners both UK and US

I believe these (Frankenstein Created Woman, The Viking Queen, Slave Girls, The Lost Continent) were already with studiocanal but might be wrong.

I thought Vampire Circus was owned by whoever holds the Rank Organisation library?

The others I have no idea. I believe the 200 is the researcher doing a quick count of all the movies Hammer ever made and in no way reflects the amount of rights HAMMER themselves actually own, although this might vary from territory to territory.

I think we'll have to see, it did sound to me like Hammer had given them the job lot.

Maybe Michael Brooke knows something about it?

This sounds like they have everything.

The fact this deal is deemed newsworthy suggests it may be everything.

on a note of definite good news I saw Michael Brooke report on a Hammer facebook page that he had seen the 4K master for The Revenge of Frankenstein and that there was a night and day difference in quality with the old HD master.

I guess they could get a 'period adventure' boxset together. i have my doubts about the commercial viability of the comedies though. we'll have to wait and see.

I'm sure Network would jump at the chance to release the comedies.

Unfortunately, Devil-Ship Pirates, Brigand of Kandahar and The Scarlet Blade are with StudioCanal over here. As such, I suspect the fifth (and presumably final) set will consist of:

Pirates of Blood River
Sword of Sherwood Forest
Visa to Canton
Creatures the World Forgot

Which would be pretty eclectic to say the least, but what can you do. Still, there were rumours The Ugly Duckling might have been coming from Indicator. I had thought it might have been included as an extra on the Two Faces of Dr Jekyll disc, so who knows if and when we'll see it.
