A Lady Snowblood double bill makes me very, very excited.

I think Class of Nukem High is quality, it just reminds me of being a 13/14 yr old boy and watching these random films on dodgy bootleg VHS.

Combat Shock is a GREAT film, I'm quite surprised Arrow are releasing it, as it's not very "cult", it's pretty dark.

Surf Nazis Must Die I've never seen, but I've wanted to for a while, so I'll probably pick it up at some point.

Now Arrow are doing stuff with Troma, there's only one title I want to see announced...

I think i'll have to revisit this one then, however, if it wasn't for Arrow, I would never have given the film a second thought.

The only Troma film I'd love Arrow to release would be the original Mother's Day.

Greetings!

6 new releases and unfortunately 6 easy passes for me.

I watched a few Tromas back in the day and certainly don't care to repeat the experience.

Never seen Snow Blood as its not my type of film.

As for the others, well I already have the German blu ray of Wild Geese and don't need another one. Shame that Wild Geese 2 wasn't included as that would have been a reason to buy.

Surely the way budgets are these days, its better to put out stuff that's not already easily available elsewhere.

So overall highly disappointing, still at least I can save up some funds for potential future releases and I'll still have the Demons films in the meantime which I'm sure will be excellent.

Can't say there's anything here much that appeals to me tbh. The last time i watched a Troma film was when i was 12, and even then i wasn't that impressed.
Would rather have had a nice Blu or Argento's Opera thank's very much, or more classic giallo.
Highly disappointed.

The original Mother's Day would be brilliant. Troma prepared a HD restoration but it appears their BD has been cancelled. If Arrow pick up on their slack a lot of people will be very happy.

I don't think it would struggle at the BBFC. I think it played uncut on the Horror Channel?

The only other Troma title I'd been keen to see (on blu!) Is Bloodsucking Freaks. An awesome grindhouse film.

Daft question, but I haven't seen the official announcement: are these new announcements blu-rays or DVDs?

I like to buy blindly. Sometimes it's more fun to take a chance on a movie rather than buying one you've seen.

Must say its an odd mix of titles.

Feel like I have to reiterate, for those who've suffered Troma before but not seen Combat Shock..

There are NO boobies, NO fart gags, NO juvenile humour, NO Lloyd Kaufman in Combat Shock.

It is a properly grim, thought provoking horror film. One of the best of the 80s IMHO

Default new announcements

And if zombie flesh eaters is a future arrow release will you try and
include the brilliant zfe doc 'building a better zombie'.
Its featured on the shriek show 2 discer of zfe and rights issues
maybe a problem but give it your best shot arrow!
The BU release of zombie 2 is fantastic but a meaty documentary
like babz included would have made the BU release the ultimate
bluray release of this awesome flick.
And who knows we may get some info regarding the video dead!

Completely agree.

I saw these films years ago and none particularly stuck in my memory (unlike Toxic Avenger), i may have picked up Class of Nuke em High on dvd but never as a dual format.
