Pro-B on blu-ray.com felt that you could see the filtering more easily on the MoC, while Criterion had a better organic look. Criterion also had the better extras.

The review was quite a departure from how he normally reviews comparison discs - he clearly ruled in favour of the Criterion here, whereas normally he would suggest that both MoC and Criterion discs were suitable for their own territories.

Yeah but they are a company at the end of the day so I can understand why money making is their priority. I do think it might backfire on them though.

They take out adverts in Empire though, and from what they've been saying it seems their upcoming Django title is getting distributed to supermarkets. They've got bigger fish to fry.

Yes such as with this ZFE problem.

If they had still been on here any moaning would have been slapped down immediately and / or something done about the issue at hand.

I think the forum/facebook comparison is pretty moot. This place has 5000+ members, their facebook pages has 3000+ likes. They're established and will probably get a higher ratio of likes to new members here from now on, they can conveniently control their page and get more casual people looking at it.

Complaints about ZFE are well tucked away now under various posts of 'your shop is crap'/'i love your shop' in posts by others so looking at their page you wouldn't even be aware of it.

Well the real PR is in getting the glowing reviews, special pieces in mags or sites and getting the likes of Mark Kermode to pronounce it as glorious on the BBC.

Ooooooo there we go! A conviently placed tweet to Kermode, and more people will be aware of it.

According to Facebook Arrow are releasing these titles on Blu Ray only because that is all they could license

...the sales of DVD only don't justify it, by doing Dual Format we can release more titles. Also some titles are Blu-ray only in the forthcoming line up as we could only license Blu-ray rights.

I'm curious as to what they will be now, hopefully not more softcore smut

Interesting. Didn't think a licensor would specify bluray releases only.
