I'm up for a The People Under The Stairs blu. I remember renting it at the video store when it was first released on VHS and piling my stomach full of junk food. Ahh, the memories.

I don't need a trip down memory lane for that. Can't remember the last Sunday that went by when I didn't sit on my arse watching a movie, shovelling ice-cream in to my gob....still that's what Sunday is for

When I was a kid, I used to get up on Sunday mornings well before my sister and my parents and watch either Big Trouble in Little China, Ghostbusters, the Lost Boys or the Making of Michael Jackson's Thriller (sometimes I'd have time for a couple of them), this was every single Sunday morning when I was about 8 or 9, happy times

I'd consider The People Under the Stairs a horror classic. Craven's best film, in my opinion.

The first time i watched it i absolutely hated the film.

I like it a bit more now but still a little mystified by the almost universal love for it.

As for Craven's best film, well, its got **** all competition.

They are all ok.

I really don't rate any of the Elm St films though.

Edit - I think Deadly Friend could be my favourite Craven film at the moment.

I think Wes Craven has made some excellent horror movies and A Nightmare on Elm Street is perhaps my favourite slasher film after Halloween. I guess I have a soft spot for his work because Scream was released as I was getting into horror films and it provided a signpost for loads of slashers of which I otherwise would have been completely unaware.
