Arrow hasn't officially announced this yet, which might explain the comparative lack of attention. But now that the news has been leaked, I suspect they'll be confirming it sooner rather than later.

They are very thorough breakdowns and the two Tinto Brass films, Michael, and fittingly explicit!

They've yet to confirm specific titles, but we're certainly talking multiple discs and several world video premieres (some of this stuff has never been telecined before, never mind scanned to 2K) and the bias will be heavily towards his pre-1975 work.

Arrow is very keen to re-establish why people were calling Borowczyk the natural successor to Buñuel and Bresson and one of European cinema's great creative innovators forty years ago - an opinion that might seem baffling today, but this is largely because the overwhelming majority of the films on which such opinions were based have been almost impossible to see in even vaguely acceptable versions. (YouTube and Ubuweb rips from ancient VHS copies of already noticeably faded prints don't count!)

A collection of Borowczyk from 1967 to 75 would be bliss. Containing Mr. And mrs. Kabals theatre, Goto Island of Love, Blanche, Immoral Tales and La Bête plus even a few of his shorts from prior and in between....this could be heaven. Alas, I have never seen any of these besides a very grimy copy of The Beast on YT. So suffice to say, currently Borowczyk's reputation currently precedes him, even then I consider The Beast a classic of WTFery. I liked it alot.

In this latest Arrow blog post, James White and David Mackenzie talk about the transfer and encoding process.

I don't think it's officaly been announced yet has it? I spotted something on Facebook the other day but it's just mentioned a 'big boxset'.

Looks like Inferno is getting a re-release with new artwork by Graham Humphreys.

I'm not keen to be honest.

Why can't they just use its official artwork like they have with the House of Usher steelie for example?

There's a little thing called the reverse Although, this is losing the 2nd disc.
