Sorry to say no Shivers footage, or pictures of boats. No mention of upcoming Bava releases which is what I thought there would be, in the credits it does list Sean Bean though. Is that considered a surprise?

It is to me I didn't even know he was in the film, did he die he nearly always dies! Maybe there is a sometype of hidden Easter egg?

Well after a quick check of all three discs I can't find any easter eggs on Rabid Dogs.

Both look superb!

Ended up buying both the steelbook and the plastic case release!

But yes, a double check with an old DVD is always a good idea, and it's such a shame that with a release as big as this, that this happens.

Oh well. Fuzzy....this is SHIVERS we're talking about. A seminal (cough) film. We've waited for years for a decent release of this. The cover sucks as well.....

Ah but the reverse and steely covers do not!

Yeah,I watched Shivers last night and yes,unfortunately the cut with the 'schoolgirl bird' is quite obvious.Not in the editing I may add,but obvious in the fact that it's not there.
To me it lessens the 'punch' somewhat.

On a brighter note,it IS the best I've seen the film look.
Sad then that it's cut,as the package as a whole is superb.Especially the booklet.
