Maybe it's Zavvi that have ruined them for me the last few I got from them were terrible Karate Kid and Star Wars are two that spring to mind straight away. I love most of my steelbooks but looking at them here now you and B_E are spot on all the shit ones are Zavvi exclusives.

I picked up the Cronenberg shorts from HMV, they had about five copies, pretty shoddy that Arrow still hasn't sent it out.

It doesn't look like they even have it in stock.

On their website, both DVD and Blu-Ray's are being listed as: 'Availability: Stock On Order'

BUT... on August 2nd, on their FaceBook page, they posted:

"David Cronenberg’s Early Works is out now on Blu-ray and DVD! If you haven't yet, grab your copy via the links below.

Order the Blu-ray direct: David Cronenberg's Early Works Blu-ray
Order the Blu-ray via Amazon: http://amzn.to/2aF4w3a

I had the same issue with Fox and His Friends, I cancelled the order after I got fed up of seeing it HMV every time I went in. They didn't respond to any of my requests of a stock update either.

Bad day when Zavvi are landing titles 3 or four days before release date and Arrow direct can't.

---------------------------------

THE LUCKY ONES DIED FIRST…

Horror master Wes Craven achieved critical and commercial success with the likes of Scream and A Nightmare on Elm Street – but for many genre fans, the director’s seminal 1977 effort The Hills Have Eyes remains his masterpiece.

Taking a detour whilst on route to Los Angeles, the Carter family run into trouble when their campervan breaks down in the middle of the desert. Stranded, the family find themselves at the mercy of a group of monstrous cannibals lurking in the surrounding hills. With their lives under threat, the Carters are forced to fight back by any means necessary.

As gruelling a viewing experience today as it was upon initial release, The Hills Have Eyes stands alongside the likes of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Night of the Living Dead as one of the defining moments in American horror cinema.
