One of the highlights of your Nightmare USA marathon it seems?

Have you got the Arrow release? Do the different cuts of the film matter? I don't know what they are, could be a tv version for all i know.

I do and I'd say yes, but not a great deal. The three cuts are Blood Rage, which is the original home video version, Nightmare at Shadow Woods, which is a re-cut of the theatrical version, featuring footage not seen in the Blood Rage home video version, and an alternate 'composite' cut combining footage from both versions. They're interesting to have and the slip is okay but not essential if you're just interested in the main and more widely seen version of the feature.

Thanks, B_E.

Sounds like Blade Runner where i can buy all versions of the film but end up watching the same one all the time.

It's not grain, it's video noise. David Mackenzie (the compressionist) has even confirmed this.

Nice to see someone taking money and working on something they know looks like shit.

It's nothing to do with him what state the master is in, he's hired to transfer it to Blu-ray as accurately as possible. Blame Arrow or James White, who gets a technical supervisor credit for every release when I can't actually see what he's being paid for half the time - like how could he release Hellraiser III with that framing disaster?
