Justin Kerswell is a member I believe......when it comes to slashers,I'd be hard pushed to think of a better genre expert.

THC is actually a really informative and fun podcast and is well worth a listen to anybody yet to come across it.

So this is me then... Note to Mr. Kerswell. In future don't make your acclaimed podcast team sound like the name of a Def Leppard tribute act playing at the Dog and Gun next Friday. |

Not a waste of time at all, the team, Including Justin Kerswell, (author of Teenage Wasteland: The Slasher movie uncut and a genre expert), are pretty knowledgeable guys, and well worth listening to. I've met Justin a couple of times and he really knows his stuff. Edit: Ah, I see others have already mentioned this. As you were. Nothing to see here!

Nice to see some love for The Hysteria Continues guys. The site the podcast is an offshoot from (The Hysteria Lives) is one of the longest running slasher resources I can remember visiting on the web. They do a great job of being informative and good humoured at the same time. As a fan it's great to see them appear on more and more label's releases. Not entirely sure I will be double dipping on Pieces (I have the Grindhouse release). I'm dubious ordering any more of these ultra limited editions after my experience with Shock & Gore. I got my money back and was able to pick up the lesser set, but I paid for S&G months in advance and really wanted it. After seeing how gorgeous it was in the flesh, having to send it back because of damage was heartbreaking. Bewildering they didn't keep spare copies. |
