Watched it tonight. Before I did, I looked at this site to see the differences. It's just small scene extensions in the Spanish version, so I decided to go with the US version since it was in English and retains Christopher George and Lynda Day's original voices.

I have no problems with subtitles, but always watch the English language version because it flows better and the famous 'Bastard' scene just isn't the same in Spanish!

Wasn't sure if it was just a matter of audio or if there were any significant differences to the movie like some of the Mario Bava films.

I could have sworn the two tracks have completely different music.

I've watched about twenty minutes of both versions. I prefer the Spanish soundtrack but the US audio. If that makes sense.

To be honest i think the films are a waste of time so it doesn't bother me how many times they release them.
The Basket Case trilogy release was original a steelbook that came out nearly 5 years ago this year, so very likely it is going out of print

The Slayer is one of my all time favourite films, so this'll be an instant purchase for me.
