No idea, I'm afraid. Although they will certainly own the copyright of the restoration itself, so this is a bit moot.

(Even if a film's in the public domain, you have to come by your source legitimately in order to release it legally. Which is why Eureka and the BFI licensed separate and equally legitimate restorations of Nosferatu and why the BFI had to scan their own archive print of Man with a Movie Camera because Eureka had the exclusive UK rights to the Lobster restoration.)

Thank you Michael.

"***NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE COMING!***

Argento's 'Opera' (again)?

**Edit - Apparently that is Ennio Morricone, so maybe this will be the announcement of 'The Thing'

I can't think of anything except from The Thing which Ennio Morricone has scored and has been rumoured as a future Arrow release or linked with the company, so it must be that.

Hope its Opera. A solid 4k restoration of that would be a must buy for me. That said its liklier to be The Thing as stated above..

Is The Cremator still with Second Run? I only just bought that from Fopp this year.

As you said though, it's only a wish list.

The Cremator is certainly still with Second Run and very much in print, albeit on DVD only.

But I've heard tantalising rumours that a 4K restoration is in prospect, and of course Second Run do Blu-rays now, so fingers crossed.

(I don't have any privileged info on this, I'm afraid, and Second Run has yet to upgrade any of their existing DVDs, but something like this must surely be too tempting to ignore.)

Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue is Studio Canal as well so they'll have no intentions on an HD version unfortunately, they have A Lizard in a Woman's Skin also which would have made a good Arrow edition.

I'm curious to see this edition of The Thing though

Michael, is Three Wishes For Cinderella a recommended purchase?

It sounds fascinating. In a Valerie type way. I might be way off there with any similarities though.
