It's owned by Warner isn't it? Seems highly unlikely. Be on HMVs premium line if anything.

Looking at the compass and what's showing on the map... well Peter Weir's Master and Commander was set around those waters.

Yeah, in the US so it’s likely to get a UK release too from them. It was more of a joke regarding the compass (and wishful thinking on my part)

There do seem to be some on fb suggesting that an extended cut of Waterworld is actually a serious contender.

Really?

Excellent film in my opinion. I first saw it at the cinema and it looked fantastic.

Proper sets and water and stuff not CGI that you'd get nowadays.

Well id take it with a pinch of salt but i don't think it's impossible. They did hint at it on April 1st along with a few other titles. Wouldn't be the first time an April fool tease came true.
And yes I agree, fantastic film. Quite underrated.

It can't be

The compass is pointing North. If it was North by North West, it would be midway between the North and North West markers - i.e over the 340

'Master And Commander'? Isn't that a bit too classy for an Arrow release?

The needle is pointing to South America, so that's possible.

I think North by Northwest is a fallacious nautical term anyway and isn't used for navigation, but it was the first thing that popped in my head.
