It's only £14.99 at the moment on the site but i reckon it could go up in price. Looks a nice package.

I thought their set of The Stud and The Bitch was a great limited edition.

I think I'll stck with my Redemption at the moment. If this has a better transfer I might consider a standard edition down the line.
it calls it a new restoration. Been looking forward to this for a while. Looks a nice package.

Don't know if you looked closely but the novel is in the package.

That's good to know. I'll pick up a standard - I don't need the bells and whistles for this one but I'm happy for those that do

On another note I wonder if this inclusion of the novelization will catch on (done for Dawn of the Dead too)? It's certainly an interesting marketing tool, and even though I'm dodging this one, clearly aimed at nostalgia merchants like myself.

'The Films of Michael Reeves' Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray pre-order available from Screenbound Films direct - £20.41

Release date: 'Coming soon'

Includes:
  • The Castle of the Living Dead (UK Blu-ray premier)
  • Witchfinder General
  • The Sorcerers
  • The Young General - brand new feature length documentary

"The early death of director Michael Reeves at just 25 robbed the UK of a potential major movie-making talent. This ultimate Blu-Ray collection includes both of his iconic works (Witchfinder General and The Sorcerers), along with the first-ever Blu-Ray release of ‘The Castle of the Living Dead’, where he was part of the scriptwriting team, networking and learning on-set skills. Completing this stunning collection is the brand new feature-length documentary ‘The Young General’, featuring Ian Ogilvy"

Screenbound have a good first quarter slate with the Reeves set and Blood of the Vampire.

I'm pleased Castle of the Living Dead is getting a release even if Reeves was only assistant director. Pity The She-Beast isn't included though.

Also i wonder if the individual films have special features? Thinking Witchfinder General specifically as i have the current Screenbound Blu with it's plentiful extras so if they are reproduced i could get rid of that disc otherwise, no.
