'Santo vs. Doctor Death' (1973) - Blu-ray available from Vinegar Syndrome direct - $24.84 "Famed Mexican wrestler and secret agent, Santo "The Silver Mask," is back in action! This time, Santo is sent to Madrid not only for a big wrestling event, but also to investigate an international case involving counterfeit art. Shortly after arriving in Madrid, Santo is partnered with an Interpol Agent named Paul (aka. "Agent 9004") and the two are quickly greeted by a number of trigger-happy assassins sent to keep them from uncovering the truth behind the art forgeries. However, the case becomes even more complicated when Santo and Paul learn that beautiful models have been going missing and that it all may be linked to an art restorationist named Dr. Mann. Santo and Paul are sent to assist seductive Special Agent Susan who is sent undercover as a model to infiltrate Dr. Mann's castle. The three soon uncover Dr. Mann's elaborate plot to use the models as test subjects in a macabre experiment to perfect his art restoration process. SANTO VS. DOCTOR DEATH has been hailed by many (including Santo himself) as not only one of the best Santo films, but one of the best of the "Lucha libre" genre that was popular during the 60s and 70s. One of the few Mexican-Spanish co-productions in the Santo filmography, this entry benefits not only from a slicker production but also from tightly choreographed fight scenes lead by director Rafael Romero Marchent (Sartana Kills Them All) and the addition of Euro actors Mirta Miller (Count Dracula's Great Love), Helga Liné (My Dear Killer), and Carlos Romero Marchent (Cut-Throats Nine) give this film more of a Eurocentric vibe than many of the other offerings in the Santo series. Vinegar Syndrome Archive is proud to present our first Santo film, scanned and restored in 2K from its 35mm original camera negative and for the first time since its initial release, presented in its intended widescreen aspect ratio." 'Sworn To Justice' (1996) - Blu-ray available from Vinegar Syndrome direct - $24.84 "Janna Dane (Cynthia Rothrock) is a criminal defense psychologist who has always followed the rule of law and fought to defend those accused of crimes, until one night she discovers that her sister and nephew have been brutally murdered by a gang of thugs in their own home. Attacked by the same criminals, Janna is able to use her martial arts training to defend herself, however, after leaping from a balcony to escape, Janna is hit on the head and rendered unconscious. Once awake, Janna discovers that the blow to her head has given her extra-sensory perception in the form of visions while touching certain objects. After her new found psychic abilities reveal that she is defending one of the thugs that killed her sister and nephew, Janna decides that she has had enough with the justice system and begins a vigilante quest to rid the streets of the criminals responsible. With the help of an author and fellow martial arts enthusiast named Nicholas (Kurt McKinney), Janna soon discovers that those responsible for her family's death may be working for some very powerful people. Featuring a copious amount of fight scenes blended with a healthy dose of humor, SWORN TO JUSTICE stars international action movie heroine and real-life martial arts champion, Cynthia Rothrock (Undefeatable), in one of her most "revealing" roles. Featuring a strong cast of supporting actors including Brad Dourif (Child's Play), Kurt McKinney (No Retreat, No Surrender), Mako (Red Sun Rising), and Vince Murdocco (L.A. Wars), Vinegar Syndrome Archive is proud to present this quintessential slice of mid-90s late-night action, newly restored in 4k from the original camera negative." Special features and specs:

'Invisible Maniac' (1990) - 4KUHD Blu-ray available from Vinegar Syndrome direct - $30.63 "Ever since he was a child, Kevin Dornwinkle wanted nothing more than the ability to spy on naked women. Traumatized for life when his prudish mother discovers his bedroom telescope pointed at the window of a nude and nubile neighbor, Kevin puts all his focus onto his other interest: science. Decades later, and now a respected physicist, Dr. Dornwinkle has made his greatest discovery yet: "molecular reorganization serum," which has the power to turn a person invisible. But after a demonstration to his peers fails horribly, the mild mannered doctor suffers a breakdown. Focusing all his efforts on perfecting his serum, and succeeding, the now fully unhinged Dornwinkle gets a job as a high school teacher and embarks on a rampage of molestation and murder... From the mind of acclaimed cult filmmaker Adam "Rif Coogan" Rifkin (Detroit Rock City, Psycho Cop Returns), comes THE INVISIBLE MANIAC! As lurid, sleazy, funny, weird, bloody, sexy, and original as any exploitation film can be, THE INVISIBLE MANIAC stars Savannah (New Wave Hookers 2), Stephanie Blake (Ferris Bueller's Day Off), Melissa Moore (Samurai Cop), Clement von Franckenstein (Fantasm), and Noel Peters as the perverted Dr. Dornwinkle. Never legally released on disc, Vinegar Syndrome is delighted to offer THE INVISIBLE MANIAC on UHD and Blu-ray for the first time, fully restored in 4K from its 35mm camera negative and featuring a bodacious selection of extras, including cast and crew interviews and deleted scenes!" 'Evil Laugh' (1986) - Blu-ray available from Vinegar Syndrome direct - $24.84 "A group of medical students have decided to spend the weekend helping their friend, Jerry, fix up the old foster home he's bought and is planning to reopen. Little do they know that, ten years ago, a terrible massacre occurred there which saw a number of young children brutally slaughtered. Things get off to an ominous start; when the group arrives, Jerry is nowhere to be found and a strange, raspy voice, coming from somewhere inside the house, warns the youngsters to leave. Not letting any of this spoil their plans, the friends set about cleaning (and pairing off for sex). But their fun is short lived when a track jacket wearing killer with ties to the property's gruesome past starts bumping them off one by one. A low budget, high energy slasher/murder mystery which cheerfully embraces its low budget and trashy sensibilities, Dominick Brascia's (Hard Rock Nightmare) directorial debut EVIL LAUGH stars Ashlyn Gere (Lunchmeat, Dreamaniac), Johnny Venokur (Savage Streets), and Steven Baio (TV's Happy Days), who also produced and co-wrote. Made by a cast and crew who adored the horror genre and rendered all the more effective by a series of wild and horrific murders, Vinegar Syndrome is proud to present the world Blu-ray debut of EVIL LAUGH, featuring a new 2K restoration from extremely rare 16mm film elements along with comprehensive archival materials and a brand new, feature-length making-of documentary which tells the fascinating story of its production." 'Frostbiter' (1995) - Blu-ray Set available from Vinegar Syndrome direct - $24.78 Release date: "Mid-to-late January" "Long ago, the mighty Wendigo was defeated and buried in a secret place known only to a select individual tasked with protecting this unholy ground, lest it be revived from the grave. When two arrogant hunters, Gary and Dave, stumble upon the Wendigo’s final resting place and kill its elderly protector, they unknowingly revive the ancient demon, which gorily dispatches Dave. Taking refuge with another group of hunters in a nearby cabin, the posse are set upon by all sorts of ghoulish creatures, not the least of which is the Wendigo itself. Meanwhile, a young woman named Sandy begins to experience visions telling her that she must now kill the Wendigo… From the snowy wilds of Michigan, Tom Chaney’s FROSTBITER (aka WENDIGO) is a highly ambitious indie horror gem which, inexplicably, remained nearly unreleased (save for some local screenings) for the better part of a decade following its late 80s production. Featuring clever use of miniatures, highly stylized camerawork and editing, frequent gore, and loads of wintry atmosphere, Vinegar Syndrome is overjoyed to at last debut this folk horror infused regional creature feature on Blu-ray, newly restored in 2K from its 16mm camera negative and bursting with extras that are sure to rip your head off!"
