"**OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION: HELL NIGHT is coming!**

Today we can (finally) provide some more concrete updates on our plans for the 1981 horror favorite HELL NIGHT. Here’s what we can divulge at this time:

- The Blu-ray & DVD combo will be branded as a "Collector's Edition" that will come with a slipcover (guaranteed for three months after its original release date)

- The Producer-approved newly-commissioned artwork pictured comes to us from artist Justin Osbourn (Lifeforce, Pumpkinhead, Prince of Darkness). This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will showcase the original theatrical poster art design.

- Extras are still in progress and will be announced sometime in October.

- National U.S. & Canada Release date is set for 12/12/17. If you pre-order now directly from our website @ https://www.shoutfactory.com/…/hel...tor-s-editi… it will ship two weeks early plus you’ll receive a FREE exclusive and collectible 18” x 24” rolled poster of the newly-designed key art. Posters will be made at a limited quantity so secure them now!

- As some of you already know, this title was leaked on several retailer sites prematurely before we could make a proper announce. The reason we couldn’t address it more publicly once that became more widespread is because we were having some technical difficulties. The title was originally planned for a Late Summer release but needed to be delayed because we became faced with an unforeseen and unwelcome scenario that we could not locate any of the original film elements despite trying many avenues to acquire them. Fortunately though we were able to access a good archival print and it is from this element that we will be doing a 4K scan of the film (including hours of intensive restoration work) so that we can get it to look the best it possibly can.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We genuinely share your excitement on this particular film (it’s been highly-requested for years) and can’t wait for the final product!"

I would imagine one of the Extras will be the Linda Blair Audio Commentary from the old Prism DVD release.
