I've been collecting scars too, friend Suzi, but mine're all 'cause my body's shot; couple of minor ones from angiograms, urithrectomy (don't ask), appendectomy and a couple of cyst removals. Not to mention the accident scars and drunken stupidity scars, oops I did mention 'em. Ah, well! Is'pose that since my 40's I've been collectin' surgical procedures!

I managed to find whats left of my rubber collection.

It was fun seeing them again.

So here's a couple of pics. Most will be around thirty five years old i guess. The Star Wars ones might actually be worth something to someone.

Not really a strange collection as such, but I used to collect Star Wars Tazos when I was at Senior School. For the uninitiated, Tazos were circular pieces of plastic, which could either slot together or could be stored in the 'Tazo Collectors Force Pack' which, sadly, I also owned. They were given away free in packets of Walkers' Crisps. Somewhere, up in the loft, I still have the complete set of Star Wars Tazos, gathering dust!

I dread to think how many packets of crisps I ate to get the full set of Tazos but one day, when the doctor diagnoses me with high cholesterol, I'll know that in some part, this will be down to excessive crisp consumption in the quest for that elusive Tazo Lando Carlissian! What's even sadder is the fact that just typing this is making me want to dig the buggers out!!

I used to collect Rubbers, used to be a shop in Aberdeen about 30 years ago called the Rubber shop. At school I collected everything from marbles, climbing rope wristbands, Star Wars Tazos (Still have 2 full sets), MUSCLE Men toys and probably my obsession for movies started with VHS collecting.

Toy wise I obviously collected Star Wars toys, action force, TMNT, M.A.S.K just sad to say I sold majority of these as I got older.

Lots of great strange collections here! I'm sure they're bringing back plenty of memories too Odd to see so many people collected rubbers

I remember being obsessed by keyrings. I used to have a huuuuge collection of them, all connected to each other. Stranger still, this mega keyring never had a single key on as I was too young to need a key for anything!

I also used to collect brouchers for tourist attractions when I was a kid too. Theme parks, museums, all that stuff. I had a massive box full of them and collected over a good few years.

I used to collect Boglins. Remember those?

Pride of my collection was this guy

And the weird lobster one:

My friend and I used to always collect the mini Boglins which were small plastic ones like Monsters in my Pocket which you could get from newsagents. We used to have our own little secret group called..ahem..The Boglin Squad which only we knew about. God I was lame
