Personally I didn't think much of the legacy release

The documentary I had seen before and came across as a but dated now

Shada I haven't watched yet but I wached the old video tape of it years ago and wasn't impressed and as its the exact same version I'm not in a hurry to repeat the experience

I currently have every DW dvd release to date and this is the first I found to be disappointing

I agree with you.

I won't be rushing to get this (unlike the forthcoming release of The Reign of Terror) but will pick it up eventually to complete the collection.

I'm off work this week so I thought I'd rewatch a bit of classic Who and chose Daleks Invasion Of Earth.

Surely this must be one of the best opening episodes ever, with the ruined Earth, great location filming and terrific ending. And it know it may go against the grain, but I thought the few little bits of CGI Dalek spaceship were wonderful - totally in keeping with the look of the original.

I'd also forgotten how fantastic the ending with Susan leaving was done. In particular, the scene where the Doctor suddenly realises Susan was leaving and made an excuse to go back to check the TARDIS ( when he didn't really have to ) was brilliantly played by William Hartnell. Classic.

I also agree with this being a disappointing release

For the first time since forever, I have not put the discs into the DVD player as soon as I got them

It's also one of the (very) few stories which doesn't contain a commentary

And it's the release you would think would have one of the more interesting ones to.
