I'm starting to get very concerned over the 50th anniversary episode especially as we know that most if not all of the remaining classic doctors were eager to appear and its now almost certain that's not happening. What pisses me off even more is this would have been the ideal opportunity to feature the 8th Doctor and for some reason Paul McGann is shunned yet again and we instead get served up complete dross like tonights episode. I think its time for a change of producer |

I am yet to see this episode. I stuck with the cup final. I'll catch up on Friday night. The prequel on the red button is a waste of time by the way. I too would like to see a change of producer. Although i have to admit the last three Moffat penned stories have been very good - The Bells of St John, The Angels in Manhattan and Asylum of the Daleks. So its not actually his stories at fault its his quality control. |

In fairness some people on GB seem to like it although most didn't, for me it's the first episode to actually make me angry, not so much for what we got but for what we could have had instead. I agree about the prequel, another complete load of tripe |

I am glad to see that I am not the only one who considers the heavily publicised 'A Nightmare in Steel' to be complete and utter tripe.... One of the very worst episodes that has ever had the misfortune to fall under the Dr Who banner in fact.

Good idea, poor production, Matt Smith stole the show again, bring on the series finale and a new producer while your at it.

I also liked it, it was not the best, but I do not see why all want Moffat gone, well, it was the same with Davies and I bet it used to be the same in the past as well, it sounds very German, all this moaning... But it is about time to open the box and let out a little of the secret about Clara, this is going on for too long in my opinion, not making it a very good arc, if there even is one, I thought all he arcs before (since it came back in 2005) were good and addictive, this one is more like a monster of the week run, ok for a while, but not for long, at least in my book. But read an interesting take on all this (I made it a bit harder to read incase you do not want to read it, did I miss a SPOILER option?), maybe we are still in an arc started before the Doctor took a retreat after Rory and Amy vanished and Clara is involved in getting him out, some even hint she may be an incarnation of the TARDIS - hmmh...

All this hope of the old Doctors coming back for the 50th anniversary; it'd look ridiculous though wouldn't it as they'd be visibly older than after they regenerated? It just wouldn't work would it?
