I've read it's part of the series finale. In any case I hope they get a decent story, to finally banish all memories of the shite that was Nightmare In Silver. The 'Invasion' cyber head is intriguing...

It's been announced that the UK release date for the DVD and Blu-ray of The Complete Eighth Series will be on the 17th November, 2014.

This should be just a couple of weeks after the finale broadcasts.

Obviously it will not include the 2014 Christmas special.
