I think it's totally unrelated. Maisie is in two stories whilst not a two parter they do appear to be connected. I think that clip is from the second of those stories. The Doctor is surprised due to events in the first story and her showing up again.

No chance it's a Yeti. It''s someones hair...looks a bit like River to me from the curls. But i doubt it is.

Great trailer by the way. Really whets the appetite.

When i saw the water and silhouette of the first creature in the trailer i immediately thought Sea Devil.
Hope so.

Could be a mask like the Silurians wore. Well a different mask obviously.

Doctor Who features heavily in the BBC Annual Report.

Seems it's the BBC's top brand worldwide.

Anyone who's interested in the 5" figure range might like to know that B&M Bargains are now selling these two exclusive sets for a measly £12.99

There's also a third set containing the Tenth Doctor, Sarah-Jane, a Cyberman and two Adipose. You can't go wrong for £12.99, the 4th Doctor alone usually sells for more than that on eBay. Hopefully they'll issue sets for the remaining Doctors as it would be great way to get some of the rarer figures back out there.
