Yeah, the story was weak and quite a bit boring. But no, I don't mind Missy, I actually really enjoy her most of the time, let's see what they make of her... But aside from the story there were some funny details to keep up the enjoyment factor, my favourite was the take on the universal language gimmick, when Bill excitedly noticed it also did lip-synch - classic!

Courtesy of BBC America Sound and picture quality are both poor The YouTube channel (Doctor Who Page) states: "Oddly, the BBC hasn't released the TV Trailer for 'World Enough and Time' online yet, however the trailer aired on BBC America and has been recorded. This video will be here temporarily until the BBC officially upload the TV trailer." Obvious spoilers abound!

That looks quite horrific - humans turned into Cybermen with drips in them. 6.45 on a Saturday night. Hmm |

Saw The Eaters of Light last night. Oh dear, is all I can say. I wasn't expecting Rona Munro to be able to get anything anywhere near as good as Survival out under the current regime, but I wasn't expecting it to be that bad either. There was a reasonable enough idea in there somewhere, but it was woefully underdeveloped and simultaneously very slow and rushed at the same time, coming across as very boring. The guest characters were typically non-existent, and of the regulars Matt Lucas is now the only one with any kind of personality. That little "it's called charm" aside only shores up how wrong it is for the weirdo alien companion to have more of it than the leading man. And what the blooming hell was that crap with talking crows? Most embarrassingly stupid thing since the moon being an egg and those forest fairies in series 8. Does anyone remember this show is supposed to be science fiction anymore? Woeful. And now we have a Missy-centric Moffat finale to look forward to! Oh joy... |

Matt Lucas is far better than Pearl Mackie could ever dream of being. He manages to seem more well rounded with the minimal dialogue he gets. My only disagreement with you is Missy. I do like her. |

I've really gone off Bill in the last five weeks. She's just so bland and dull. I'm almost starting to think Lucas would have made a good Doctor in the Troughton mould - the hard-edged genius who makes everyone think he's a childlike idiot - which says a lot for him given how underwritten he's been. |
