One of the 80's best stories, very well written, full of mystery and great performances!

Agreed

Even now I find it a gripping and scary story...Plus it contains the often posted 'Sophie Aldred in stocking and suspenders' scene

I've always liked Donald Cotton's novelisations of his own stories the best, especially The Myth Makers.

That's one I don't have

I remember seeing it in a charity shop a number of years ago, picking it up, looking at it, putting back (and hiding it) and thinking 'I'll get that in 10 minutes, after Tesco'. Of course, when I returned, it was gone

* See also 'Power Of The Daleks' and 'Four To Doomsday'

I've not seen any of them since

BBC Confirms Doctor Who Spin-Off Class Axed | Doctor Who TV

It was the wrong show at the wrong time, promoted in the wrong way

No great surprise really, I only watched about twenty minutes of the final episode and found it a bit meh. Susan is right that it was the wrong show at the wrong time. The BBC should have invested the money and time into Torchwood or a Sarah Jane Adventures style show.
