It's been stated by the BBC on Twitter that the Christmas special will air at 5.30pm on Christmas day

That's good. Means i can have tea afterwards.

Viewers wise? I doubt it will be troubling the top of the Christmas Day charts.

Any idea what it's up against? Tends to be Emmerdale.

EDIT - ITV have a Harry Potter film finishing at 17.50 followed by Paul O'Grady's Love of Dogs.

Apparently the cinema showings of 'Twice Upon A Time' will not contain the regeneration footage

That will be a Christmas television exclusive

I'll be making my own adjustments with a "switch off" Director's Cut right at the moment 12th starts his change. I don't think I'll be able to find a cinema in Cornwall that shows Dr Who. Plymouth maybe?
