I always wish Lytton never died, or at least not so soon. He was great in Resurrection of the Daleks and Attack of the Cybermen, wouldn't have been against the idea of seeing him in a few more stories.

I too really liked Lytton. He was a great character and it would have been nice to see him return alongside another classic foe to take on McCoy.

Maurice Colbourne was excellent in the role. He died really suddenly from a heart attack part way through filming the fifth series of Howard's Way, aged just 49.
