Whitaker has been a terrible Doctor from the word go, the writing does her no favours but i hate her breathless babbling.

Wonder if the Doctor could take the form of her oldest friend / foe Missy and let Michelle Gomez play the Doctor just as she sort of did in World Enough and Time for a few minutes. I'd love that.

Like Matt Smith you mean? In fact David Tennant was not what you'd call famous before he got the role.
