Doctor Who.

An Unearthly Child
Two teachers look into the life of a pupil and her grandfather who lives in a junkyard with a police box which the young Susan refers to as The Tardis.

The Caves of Skulls
The Tardis lands in the place of dawn of history where the inhabitants are trying to rediscover man's greatest invention, fire.

The Forest Of Fear
The Old Mother of the tribe frees the prisoners while they are being hunted by members of the thribe.

The Firemaker
The Old Mother was killed but The Doctor tells convinces tribe that someone has done it, but a member of the tribe insists the travelers be held until they can show them how to make fire.

Signed up to Britbox and first tv show to come up was Doctor Who, and this is my first time seeing the first season of William Hartnell who plays a somewhat eccentric old man able to try and play mind games in the first episode until he makes the phrase "seeing is believing" actually happen. This would have been amazing to see when it was first broadcasted back in 1963.

Sadly, because *everyone* knows what the TARDIS is like, first time viewers nowadays are never get the same jaw-dropping experience that first time viewers in the 1960's got

In some ways, it's a shame the mysteries of 'Doctor Who' have become so familiar to everyone, regardless of whether they are a fan (and viewer) or not, that some of the magic has been lost

Sadly that is very true Susan, I grew up in the era from Colin Baker to present and a lot of the past Dr Who episodes never appealed to me, over the last few years I am a Who fan now.
