I watched Class for the first time this past week. I didn't mind it to begin with, the first four episodes were good however it got a bit bogged down after that in plot loopholes and repetition and the final moments of the last episode were just annoying as it was setting something up that was never going to be. The cast were all decent until the sixth episode where they were trapped in a school room and basically bickered for 45 minutes. It was the equivalent of a cost cutting Doctor Light episode or in this case a cost cutting Miss Quill episode. Miss Quill, an alien physics teacher at Coal Hill Academy as played by Katherine Kelly was easily the best thing about the show. Kelly has far more screen presence than Jodie Whittaker and would have made a superb Doctor. Overall i can see the attraction to Class even if it comes across a little like Buffy with added swearing, sex, grit and violence but the real lives of the 'class' were more interesting than the alien menace which in a way defeats the point of the thing. |

There seems to be a problem with the site that I use for the 'additional pictures' in the daily Before and After feature - Avelyman.com Hopefully this is just a temporary glitch or routine maintenance and things will be back to normal sooner rather than later!
