I do wonder how much of The power of the Doctor was actually written by Russell T Davies. Certainly the regeneration scene was but how much prior to that? It did seem that the episode improved dramatically in the characterisation in those final five minutes when the likes of William Russell appeared. The new issue of DWM interviews Davies and director Rachel Talalay (She obviously directed it) about the actual regeneration sequence. |
