The Master (Anthony Ainley) gets all wrapped up for those cold winter nights in the Death Zone in 1983's The Five Doctors.

According to RTD's latest production notes in DWM, Series 14 will be eight episodes. Xmas specials are back, the 2023 one already written and 2024 confirmed. No more gap years. "Lots of other content". It's unclear if eight episodes will be the norm or not.

It sounded like he wants more. However what he wants and what he gets are two different things.

Is the Xmas special part of the eight or is it eight plus Xmas?
