I see the new colourised version of The Daleks is up for preorder at HMV, Amazon and the like on steel book, blu-ray and dvd.

The photos in the new magazine look bloody awful and that's putting it mildly.

Apparently they are already planning to release colourised versions of stories next year, so this is not just going to be a 60th anniversary special

People are suggesting that 'The Aztecs' and 'The Mind Robber' would look good in colour!

The Aztecs would look terrific. But not as the over saturated, bleedy mess as pictured in the magazine.

These are to colourisation what the animations are to Pixar.

I've tried to take some shots of the images to judge for yourself.

It does look terrible.
I'm not buying literally half a story anyway. What a joke. Fans once rallied to get the stories uncut on VHS, now they celebrate getting them edited down by 50%.
IQs really have dropped in the last 30 years...

"The newly announced colour version of 'The Daleks', which will be shown on the 23rd of November in the U.K. on BBC4, is also to be released on dvd, Blu-ray and as a steelbook on the 12th February 2024 in the U.K.
