The music during the lift escape was way too intrusive but other parts of the music have been excellent.

I still say as i have elsewhere on the thread that 75 minutes is too short. There's zero characterisation for the Thals other than a bit for Alydon, When it came to the chasm jump they'd never previously mentioned Antodus by name until he fell.

You've got to give people a bit of character or who cares what happens to them.

It should have been 90 mins ideally.

Most of the clips at the end which were colourised looked far better than the story they went with for the broadcast.

On the whole i thought it was decent if not brilliant. I don't think i'll be buying it on disc when it comes out.

Just found out they've replaced Matt Smith in An Adventure in Space and Time with Ncuti Gatwa.

Although that would be a nice surprise for anyone who watched it (I didn't) however for me that's a beautiful pivotal scene in the story and seeing Matt who was on the verge of leaving after we'd traveled with him for three years was a joy whereas Gatwa? Who nose?

So the 60th anniversary has passed, and no new reports of missing stories being found...

The lift part was my favourite part, the sly wink from Susan and the weird montage style set up, I know i'm just a wrong 'un but I loved the sixties style music and vibe of that scene.

I did have to set my TV to "movie" mode as it dampened the over saturated colours to a watchable level.
