Alongside Alex Beaton and Jo Wright he was an Executive Producer on this one production, and therefore I didn't consider him (and them) to be 'major players' in Who-story

The only Executive Producers I have noted are the ones who have had a extensive and on-going relationship with the programme

He was the guy that got the ball rolling with the BBC when he was vice president of Amblin Entertainment. Writing the first draught of the tv movie script as well as being executive producer and also co-wrote the excellent coffee table book on the production Doctor Who: Regeneration with Gary Russell.
