With all the praise being lavished on the new 'Dune' film, it should be noted that George Lucas is obviously a fan of the source material!

When you do find something you think is worth posting here, like that graphic observing the similarities between Dune and Star Wars, you could cite the source so people can go to that website, read the author's thoughts, and watch the YouTube videos with inspirations for classic scenes in the Star Wars movies.

According to MelonFamers, 'The Phantom Menace' is being re-released to UK cinemas, but it has had its rating upgraded from a 'U' certificate to a 'PG' certificate

The Mandalorian season 3 has been confirmed for US release in December. Hopefully UK announcements are forthcoming. What I do find a bit irritating about this, is that the preceding Book of Boba Fett has been skipped (which had the Mandalorian character and his plotlines in the last three episodes). Makes no sense.

Edit: Ahsoka is also getting released but I wasn't fond of that show.

Season 3 of Mando didn't work for me. It lost its focus with The Madolorian become just another character in his own snow.

You're not wrong, it was a weird season. At times, he did seem just like a side character in his own show. There were enough stand out moments for me to still want to own it. For example, I loved seeing Christopher Lloyd in Star Wars and in that episode, the Mandalorian harassing droids. I'm curious as to what the forthcoming Mandalorian film will be like (apparently they wrapped shooting and are now working on special fx).

Made a start on the ninth disc in my six film Star Wars Blu-ray box set for the first time this evening. It was only last night after rewatching The Empire Strikes Back for the fourth time this year that i bothered to look at the booklet to see what was actually on the extra discs.

It seems the 97 minute Star Wars Spoofs is only available on the 2011 Blu-ray box set Star Wars: The Complete Saga. It contains various clips spoofing Star Wars, from shows such as The Simpsons, Family Guy, Saturday Night Live and Robot Chicken to films such as Spaceballs and Clerks.

I only watched the first half an hour but it's hilarious. A Saturday Night Live sketch of actors auditioning for Star Wars is superb. Kevin Spacey doing a riotous take on Christopher Walken auditioning as Han Solo is brilliant.

It should be noted that there's an on screen warning before the extra begins that it's not suitable for kids.
