If anyone out there has a V6 set top box (Virgin) How do you take the recordings off the box itself and onto a DVDr directly from the box? As the DVD Recorder has a different scart socket to the one on the back of the*V6*set top box grrrrrrr |

Bad news I'm afraid it seems that the 'Scart' socket at the back is disabled so only a HDMI output is supported, getting a HDMI-Scart lead/converter to connect to a DVDR is probably a nightmare scenario, if the V6 has a USB socket see if you can transfer to a PC and burn a dvd that way.

![]() ![]() Maybe it was disabled for copyright reasons ? Given that when everything went digital (from analogue) you would have thought that recording something off the tv (and onto a disc) would be like the older days and now they have to make it so complicated and so difficult!! |
