 Blood Beach (1980)
I'd be made up if this got a DVD release. It's a terrible film mind, but I have an incredible soft spot for it.   |

I have very fond memories of this film. I remember my parents renting this one Saturday afternoon (I think I was probably about 10) and really enjoying it.  I've always wanted to see it again and would welcome a good quality UK release.

It is a great tagline - it's right up there with The Naked Gun 2 1/2's 'If you only see one film this year, you really need to get out more.'

However, if i'm not mistaken BB was something of a big box-office bomb back in it's day which would explain the film's rarity. Sounds more like a job for Arrow than Shameless to me.

Would love to see Shameless or Arrow releases this-although Shameless seem to be sticking to the Euro stuff....

The one bit that has stuck with me - even after all these years - is the scene where the police are searching the area for one of the missing victims and one of the cops in the background holds up a plastic bag with a just single eyeball in it.  I remember the end quite well, too, but don't want to spoil it for anyone so will keep schtum! |

I used to love this fillum! Saw it a few times on the Beeb back in the day. Another classic John Saxon "overly straight-faced" performance. I was only thinking about it last week. I'd love to see it again. |

This is long overdue a DVD release and Shameless or Arrow would be the right people to show this film some love. It may well be a stinker, but I think it's great. There's one particular scene, if I recall rightly, that will make all the fellas go 'Ouch!'
