Bit of a frustrating episode. There was something good trying to get out here, but it didn't quite gel for me. I like the idea of this place existing outside of the normal rules of reality, and people stumbling on it when they need to, and the whole "what you need" vibe of finding something that will fix what ails you. My main gripe is with the actor playing Wong. Thought he was pretty dreadful. |

Ok, I agree the acting wasn't great, but this really felt like the first episode of the 80s series that had an original TZ tone to it. If you changed the porn shop for a pawn shop and watched in mono chrom I think this would translate very well to the 60s series. It has commentry on racism, a mysterious lost and found warehouse that is everywhere and no where at once and 4 people all in search of something intangible they've lost. Acting aside- I loved it |
