Hmmm, it's a shame this one. I like the set-up; there was potential there, but it just really seemed to lose it's way.

It's happened a few times with the 80's show where an episode really just seems to be meandering, then I click on the sky box to see how long is left and there's about fifteen minutes still left to go.

I did like when he set those few people free at the end though.

I disagree with tom on this one, I really enjoyed it throughout.

Its rare to find a new take on a horror story, and whilst it could be argued this was a take on the zombie mythos, i think it worked especially well.

The "employees" who have semi obscured faces, a firey touch and an appetite for cancer sticks were fantatic, the idea of people being ferried to hell on the back of trucks echoed holocaust imagery and then chaising these asthetics with a notion that good people are being sent to hell because a human has got inbetween people and god was inspired.

I wondered if this was a polemic against religion as a whole or maybe just religious authority- was the beauracrat middle manager deciding who does and doesnt go to hell meant to be a metaphore for the pope?

lastly, it had a great ending and both Q and Data from Star Trek TNG were present- which is always a bonus for me.

Two thumbs up.

Sort of so so for me this one. What annoys me about the 80's ones is the nice characters always have a sickly sweet look on their face like the old lady at the end. And why didn't the other people run away when he was seeing them to safety?
