I've never been that into the original 'Shadow Play'. I don't dislike it, but it's never been an episode that really did much for me. Strange how I actually really dug this remake. I don't know what it is. I thought Peter Coyote was great, the prison scenes look really good too. I can't remember whether the parts where he'd mention that different people play different parts in each dream is a carry over from the original, but the dream logic really worked. Liked this one a lot. |

I really enjoyed this one, I didn't know it was a remake of an original. Like Tom says Peter Coyote was excellent and just shows if you get good actors, like Serling did, they carry the story really well. I just think the acting in most of the new episodes lets them down.

I had no idea this was a remake, but it shows- a really outstanding tale with a claustrophobic sense of unseen menace about it. Very impressed. F:S |
